We exists to support women (cis/non-cis) and gender minorities of all levels sending male-dominated outdoor sports such as backpacking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, backcountry touring, trail running, mountaineering, and mountain biking.

We do this through community empowerment, multiple avenues of education (courses, workshops, and webinars), free in person meetups, and domestic/international small group trips.

​We welcome women (cis/trans) and gender minorities of all levels, body types, races, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religious beliefs, abilities, and economic statuses. The only people we don't welcome are cis men who identify as he/him (sorry, fellas).

Send Femme is brought to you by a group of lady senders who have been crushing trails, peaks, slopes, and the status quo for the entirety of their lives. In addition to being experienced in backpacking, climbing, trail running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering and mountain biking, all of us also have formal education and/or training in medicine, movement, and nutrition. We are on a mission to get as many women and gender minorities on trail, rock, snow and ice as possible––together.

Send Femme is for women (cis + trans), nonbinary folks, genderqueer people, and gender minorities. We welcome anyone with the pronouns she/her or them/they or any combo of the two to join. We also welcome trans men.

How femme you consider or present yourself doesn't matter one bit here, you are SUPER welcome if you feel out of place in the very male-dominated outdoor world.

We offer an LGBTQIA+ group within the network for queer folks (and allies) to connect and bond in a safe place for additional support.
