Refund Policy Terms & Conditions for Trips/Retreats

Thank you for choosing Send Femme, LLC for your travel experience!! This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which we process refunds and cancellations for our trips. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • To qualify for a refund, cancellations must be made at least 120 days before the trip departure date for international trips and 90 days before domestic trips.
  • Certain trips and services may have different cancellation policies, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

2. Requesting a Refund

  • To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service team at hello@sendfemme.com with your booking reference and reason for the cancellation.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within the eligibility period mentioned above.

3. Cancellation Process

  • Upon cancellation approval, we will confirm the cancellation via email.
  • Depending on the timing of the cancellation, applicable fees may be deducted from your refund. These fees will be specified in the booking confirmation. Our general policy includes (subject to change depending on the trip):
    • 20% of domestic trip cost is non refundable at initial time of booking
    • 25% of internal trip cost is non refundable at initial time of booking

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days after your cancellation is confirmed.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 7-10 days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

5. Changes to Bookings

  • If you wish to make changes to your booking (e.g., changing dates or destinations), please contact us as soon as possible. Additional fees may apply based on availability and timing.

6. Trip Cancellation by Send Femme, LLC

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a trip, we will provide a full refund or offer a comparable alternative at no additional cost.

7. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for refunds or compensation in the event of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or health emergencies.

8. Trip Insurance

  • We are not liable for refunds or compensation in the event of personal cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as personal injury, emergencies, etc. We are also not liable for refunds or compensation in the event of injury, trip changes, etc. while on the trip.
  • By acknowledging our terms & conditions, you are agreeing to purchase independent travel insurance (World Nomads, Global Rescue) in order to support yourself for the trip.

9. Changes to the Policy

  • We reserve the right to amend this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Please review this policy periodically.
